Day 1: Your maiden ride takes you directly into the heart of Capitol Reef National Park. Marvel at towering red rock domes and exposed geological folds as we pause at scenic overlooks along the route. Halfway through, we’ll re-energize with a guide-prepared lunch at the historic Gifford Homestead, famous for its freshly baked fruit pies. Following lunch, guests can enjoy an optional short scenic stretch or hike before a brief 25-minute shuttle back to Torrey. The day concludes with a group welcome dinner at Hunt & Gather, situated just a short stroll or two-minute shuttle from our hotel.
Day 2: Fuel up this morning with a fresh breakfast at Wild Rabbit Cafe (or a cozy breakfast in your hotel room). A 30-minute shuttle brings us to the start line at the Wildcat Rest Area. We begin with a rewarding 9-mile climb up toward Homestead Point Lookout, where full support and refreshments await at the summit.
From the lookout, enjoy a sweeping descent into the high-desert mountain town of Boulder for a trailside park lunch. Re-mounting our bikes, we push deeper into the canyon country along the iconic Burr Trail Road. Our destination: Singing Canyon, a dramatic slot canyon celebrated for its towering sheer walls and natural acoustic acoustics. After exploring the canyon on foot, we’ll shuttle to Boulder Mountain Lodge. Tonight’s highlight is a memorable farm-to-table group dinner at the renowned Hell’s Backbone Grill.
Day 3: We kick off the morning early with an optional hike to the breathtaking Lower Calf Creek Falls (approx. 3 hours round-trip), taking in ancestral Puebloan granaries and the 126-foot cascading waterfall. After returning to Boulder Mountain Lodge to check out, we start today’s ride straight from the property.
The route rolls across spectacular slickrock country toward Escalante, supported by a mid-ride comfort stop equipped with restrooms. We wrap up our ride mid-afternoon in Escalante, checking into the boutique, glamping-inspired OfLand-Escalante around 3:00–4:00 PM. The afternoon and evening are yours to unwind—grab a bite from the onsite food truck, order pizzas under the stars, or catch an evening feature at the outdoor drive-in movie theater.
Day 4: Rolling directly out from OfLand, the first 16 miles feature a gentle, steady climb (2–3% average grade) winding toward Powell Point Vista. At the summit, enjoy a well-earned, beefed-up support stop complete with restroom facilities and grand vistas. From here, the route turns mostly downhill, rewarding your effort with effortless miles into Cannonville.
We’ll pause for lunch at the Cannonville Visitor Center pavilion before offering two options: an optional 9-mile ride extension (or short shuttle) into Kodachrome Basin State Park for a brief hike, or direct transit to Bryce Canyon National Park. After checking into the historic Bryce Canyon Lodge, guests can enjoy dinner at the lodge restaurant. Later tonight, step right out your front door to experience some of the clearest, darkest starry night skies in North America.
Day 5: Start the morning with an unforgettable sunrise over the Bryce Amphitheater hoodoos or a early-morning canyon hike (~3 miles). After breakfast and a quick gear change, we shuttle up to Rainbow Point—the highest elevation in the park—where our ride begins.
Enjoy an exhilarating net-downhill ride along Bryce Canyon Road and onto the paved Red Canyon path, cruising past crimson hoodoos down to Thunder Mountain Trailhead. After a picnic lunch at the Visitor Center, we load into the vehicle around 2:00–3:00 PM for a 2-hour transfer to Springdale, the gateway to Zion National Park. After checking into Springhill Suites, the evening is yours to explore Springdale’s local dining scene via foot or the town shuttle.
Day 6: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel before rolling out directly from Springdale into Zion National Park. Today is dedicated to soaking in the vertical sheer canyon walls of Zion Canyon aboard two wheels, free from vehicle support inside the main canyon corridor.
Along the route, we’ll lock up the bikes for easy side hikes such as Emerald Pools. Guests will carry a light daypack lunch or enjoy dining on their own within the park village. After taking in the soaring monoliths of Angels Landing and the Temple of Sinawava, we’ll ride back directly to our hotel. In the evening, the group reunites for a celebratory final group dinner in Springdale.
Day 7: We save one of Utah’s most iconic experiences for our final morning. Treat today to a premiere group hike—wading through the soaring canyon walls of The Narrows or climbing to Scout Lookout (the breathtaking overlook just below Angels Landing).
After wrapping up our hike late morning, we’ll gather in Springdale for a farewell lunch, pack up gear, and complete the easy 1-hour drive back to St. George in the early afternoon for departure flights and connections.
